Kellie Martin. Martin is an American television and film actress. She is best known for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. She is also well-known as the lead in the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin began her acting career when she was seven years old. The aunt of her mother, who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's children was a big help in landing her a small role on the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. Her professional career began following her graduation from Yale University. This led to her landing substantial part-time roles in the TV and film industry. Besides being an actress, Martin is an accomplished photographer as well as a ballet dancer. She is a mother of two children and is the official spokesperson for Lupus.
